Life in Samoa moves at a slow pace. It’s quiet and relaxing with very few distractions.
So when Browns defensive tackle Danny Shelton rumbled across a beach and lifted lava boulders there last month while working out with trainer Pene Talamaivao, they were suddenly the main attraction for drivers on an adjacent road.
“We caused a slow traffic jam because they were watching us training and they didn’t understand what we were doing out there,” Talamaivao said during a recent phone interview with the Beacon Journal. “I mean you see this big guy with a hulky body, with long hair, running around doing drills they’ve never seen before.
