On Monday, the Browns cut undrafted rookie wide receiver Shane Wynn, undrafted rookie tight end Anthony Ezeakunne, linebackers Everette Brown and Moise Fokou, running back Jalen Parmele and cornerback Aaron Ross.
Wynn and Ezeakunne were waived. Brown, Fokou, Parmele and Ross had their contracts terminated.
All NFL teams must trim their rosters from 90 to 75 players before 4 p.m. Tuesday, then from 75 to 53 players before 4 p.m. Saturday.
The Browns have 84 players on their roster after severing ties with the aforementioned six players.
None of the Browns' early cuts is a surprise, though Wynn had good preseason production and Fokou, Brown and Ross have a lot of NFL experience.
