The Cleveland Browns released two players on Monday -- one who has spent two seasons in Cleveland and another who spent less than a week.
The club cut linebacker Scott Solomon and wideout Saalim Hakim, the team announced this afternoon. Presumably, the moves make room for the Browns' new draft picks.
Pro Football Talk first reported the Hakim move on Friday, lost amid the craziness of the 2016 NFL Draft.
The Browns signed Hakim on April 25, waiving tight end Chase Ford to open the roster space, and then selected four wideouts in the draft.
