A team source tells Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer that the Browns are worried the ankle injury sustained by first-round DE Myles Garrett could “sideline him for weeks.”
Garrett left Wednesday’s practice early after he sustained a right ankle injury and did not return.
Browns HC Hue Jackson later told reporters that they plan to monitor him in the coming days before making any determination.
However, it sounds like the injury could be worse than Jackson is letting on.
Garrett previously missed some time with a lateral foot sprain.
