Joe Haden took a step forward on Thursday in an effort to play Sunday in Washington against the Redskins, as the cornerback took part in the teams’ practice in Berea.
“He was out there running around today so we will see where he is this weekend, but I feel good about it, I really do,” Browns coach Hue Jackson said after practice Thursday.
“You know how these things go. I will get with our medical staff and see exactly where he is before we say one way or the other.”
Haden missed Sunday’s game in Miami against the Dolphins after he hurt his groin in practice on Thursday.
