The 6-foot-3, 253-pound Jeffcoat spent two seasons with Washington and appeared in nine games with one start. He tallied nine tackles, including a sack, to go along with one forced fumble and an interception.
Washington cut the son of former NFL defensive end Jim Jeffcoat on Thursday.
The younger Jeffcoat entered the league in 2014 by signing with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted rookie free agent out of the University of Texas, where he was named the 2013 Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Year.
The Seahawks cut him during training camp, and Washington signed him to its practice squad a week later.
