The Browns have been awarded offensive lineman Austin Pasztor off waivers from the Jacksonville Jaguars, his agent, Sunny Shah, announced via Twitter on Sunday afternoon.
When the Browns trimmed their roster from 75 to an NFL-mandated 53 players on Saturday, they kept only six O-linemen on their active roster. So everyone in the league knew they would add at least one in preparation for their Sept. 13 regular-season opener against the New York Jets.
The Browns have yet to announce the addition of Pasztor to their active roster. They must release another player to make room for him.
