The Cleveland Browns claimed wide receiver Marvin Hall off of waivers on Monday.
The fourth-year veteran was released last week by the Detroit Lions.
Hall was in his second season with the Lions and appeared in 11 games this season, making five starts. He has 17 receptions for 290 yards and two touchdowns this year, the bulk of which came in Week 8 when he had four receptions for 113 yards against the Indianapolis Colts.
The Lions reportedly released Hall so they could give younger wide receivers an opportunity after firing head coach Matt Patricia and general manager Bob Quinn.
