The Cleveland Browns claimed linebacker Josh Keyes off waivers. Keyes was released by the San Diego Chargers on November 7. To clear a roster spot, they released linebacker Deon King.
Keyes, a 6-foot-2, 230-pound former Boston College Eagles linebacker, went undrafted in 2015 and signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played in seven games as a rookie with Tampa Bay, and four more in 2016. Keyes also appeared in one game with the Atlanta Falcons last season. In 2017, Keyes has appeared in two games with the Chargers.
He finished his college career with 62 tackles, four sacks and one forced fumble in 43 games played.
