The Cleveland Browns continued to shuffle their roster on Thursday, signing defensive end Anthony Zettel off of waivers. To make room for Zettel, the team released backup offensive lineman Aaron Neary.
Zettel was waived by the Lions on Wednesday; meanwhile, Neary spent just a cup of coffee in Cleveland, having been added via waivers on Sunday.
The Lions selected Zettel in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. In his rookie year he appeared in 13 games with zero starts but did total one sack and 13 combined tackles.
