Browns Big First Quarter, Five Turnovers Leads to 48-37 Wild Card Win Over Rival Steelers

By Brendan Ward

The Cleveland Browns went into their first playoff matchup in 18 years Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. If inexperience wasn’t enough to set back a team, Covid-19 running rampant through the coaching staff, forcing head coach Kevin Stefanski to miss the game would certainly add to the strain.

Despite the odds seemingly stacked against them, the Browns came out like they were the experience, driven team. Using big turnovers on defense, to capitalize into points on offense the Browns found themselves up 28 points after one quarter, then holding onto a 35-10 halftime lead.
