With the NFL’s opt-out deadline fast approaching, we’re learning of more players who are choosing to opt out of the 2020 season. The latest one is another Browns offensive lineman in OG Colby Gossett.
Gossett was a 6th round pick by the Vikings in 2018 who spent almost all of 2019 on the Browns’ practice squad. This marks the second backup offensive guard to have opted out this year for Cleveland, with the other being OG Drew Forbes.
In addition, the Browns announced that QB Garrett Gilbert has been activated from the active/COVID-19 list.
