One of the pleasures of game days for the Cleveland Browns at the old Municipal Stadium was the first glimpse of the orange helmets emerging from the baseball dugout.
It did not matter which decade or which uniform combo the team was wearing - the brown jersey and orange pants of Brian Sipe’s teams in the 1970s, or the all-white that was favored by the club in the late 1980s with Bernie Kosar leading the way - those helmets signaled that it was about to go down and the opposing team better be ready.
