The Browns have added former Tennessee Titans executive Lake Dawson to their personnel department, a source familiar with the situation confirmed for the Beacon Journal on Thursday night.
The source spoke on condition of anonymity because the Browns have yet to formally announce the move. InsideTheLeague.com first reported the organization had hired Dawson.
The Titans parted ways with Dawson, 43, in January after he spent eight seasons with them. He joined the franchise in 2007 as director of pro personnel and ascended to vice president of football operations in 2011.
According to the Titans, Dawson assisted General Manager Ruston Webster and coach Ken Whisenhunt with their daily roster moves and all transactions via free agency and the NFL Draft.
