Bill Kuharich will oversee the Browns' player personnel department during general manager Ray Farmer's four-week suspension.
Kuharich, Cleveland's executive chief of staff who has worked in NFL personnel departments since 1986, joined the franchise in May 2014 and has served in a pivotal role with the team’s personnel moves. He also assists Farmer in key decisions and with the team's overall strategic vision.
Farmer's four-week suspension for a violation of the NFL's rules prohibiting certain uses of electronic devices during games begins Sunday. It will end immediately after Cleveland's Oct. 4 game at San Diego.
