Looking to shore up their depth heading into Week 2 of the preseason, the Cleveland Browns announced the signing of veterans Aaron Ross and Everette Brown on Sunday.
Ross, 32, last played for the Baltimore Ravens in 2014. The former Texas standout spent the entire season on injured reserve after tearing his Achilles tendon last July. He has 11 career interceptions in eight NFL seasons, setting a career high with four while playing for the Giants in 2011. In addition to New York and Baltimore, Ross also spent the 2012 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
