We know that the Cleveland Browns have an Ivy League front office in place, but it is time for them to stop being the smartest men in the room when it comes to drafting Ohio State football players. For years, the Browns have had the advantage of having the Buckeyes in its own backyard to scout, but tend to stay away from them when it comes time to the draft.
The Browns drafted Denzel Ward in the first round of the 2018 draft. Pretty solid pick. The last time a Ohio State player was drafted by the Browns before Ward was wide receiver Brian Robiskie in 2009.
