The first two preseason games of the 2019 NFL season have gone very well for the Cleveland Browns, especially as far as their starters are concerned. Head coach Freddie Kitchens hasn’t put them on the field much — with Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, and many other stars not seeing the field at all in Week 2 — but they have enjoyed the success they saw from them.
Mayfield and the offense scored in a hurry and then have had some great practices, especially against Indianapolis in the joint practices. Their defensive starters also have looked good in their limited action, with Myles Garrett looking unblockable in Week 1 before taking the day off in Week 2.
