The Cleveland Browns brought in former Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey this offseason to help adapt and lead the offense in 2024. Based on analytics and advanced numbers, he was one of the more effective play callers in 2023 despite his “falling out” with the Bills organization.
He’s been silently gaining a reputation as somewhat of a “quarterback whisperer” when it comes to his ability and track record of being able to develop and make things easy for quarterbacks. Though it’s important to have an advanced knowledge of different defenses and coverages, he tries to make the game simpler for quarterbacks by using motion and formations to create easy-to-recognize advantages on the field.
