With their first two picks the Dolphins picked offense with QB/WR so they switch the defensive side of the ball for this pick. Safety is not a position of desperate need, but McKinney is a playmaker and would be an upgrade for their defensive coach. While I was seriously tempted to take on the the left tackles still on the board, I am hoping either Jones or Cleveland falls to our 2nd round pick and I know that Mckinney will not make it to that point.
