Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook has continued his series of rendezvous with his hometown team.
A Walsh Jesuit High School graduate and Hinckley native, Cook is among the prospects who have had an official pre-draft visit with the Browns, a source familiar with the situation told the Beacon Journal on Friday. The source spoke on condition of anonymity because the Browns aren’t confirming visits.
Cook is a projected first- or second-round selection. If the Browns don’t draft one of the top-rated quarterbacks -- North Dakota State’s Carson Wentz or California’s Jared Goff -- second overall on April 28, Cook could be an option for them at No.
