Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook has continued his series of rendezvous with his hometown team.
A Walsh Jesuit High School graduate and Hinckley native, Cook is among the prospects who has had an official pre-draft visit with the Browns, a source familiar with the situation told the Beacon Journal on Friday. The source spoke on condition of anonymity because the Browns aren’t confirming visits.
Cook is a projected first- or second-round selection. If the Browns don’t draft a quarterback second overall on April 28, Cook could be an option for them at No. 32 overall.
In addition to hosting Cook at team headquarters, the Browns met with him March 16 after his pro day workout at Michigan State and in February at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
