The Cleveland Browns brought in free agent quarterback Robert Griffin III for a visit over the weekend, and that appears to have gotten the ball rolling on a potential match between the two sides. According to ESPN Cleveland's Tony Grossi, RG3 could sign with the Browns by the end of the week:

Griffin is intrigued with playing for new Browns head coach Hue Jackson and will have the opportunity to compete for the starting job with incumbent starter Josh McCown.
Cleveland has been looking for a quarterback of the future after parting ways with former first-round draft pick Johnny Manziel earlier this offseason, and they have been heavily linked to North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz with the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL Draft.
However, their interest in Griffin would suggest that the Browns may pass on drafting a quarterback if they do sign him, opening the door for them to take Ohio State DE Joey Bosa or Florida State DB Jalen Ramsey with their first round pick.
Cleveland has also passed on a potential trade to acquire 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, opting not to meet San Francisco's asking price.
Denver Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak told reporters yesterday that they are still interested in potentially bringing in Griffin to compete for the starting job with Mark Sanchez. The New York Jets also have shown a desire to sign RG3 if they are unable to re-sign Ryan Fitzpatrick. That being said, the Browns are clearly the frontrunners to land Griffin and should get a deal done with him sooner rather than later.
