With the 93rd overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns selected USC quarterback Cody Kessler, a signal-caller that Hue Jackson hand selected to compete with Robert Griffin III for the starting job in camp.
Kessler boasted pinpoint accuracy in college, leaving the Trojans with a career 67.5 completion percentage while passing for 3,536 yards with 29 touchdowns to just seven interceptions. He also played three years in a pro-style scheme, making him ready to step in and immediately make an impact in Cleveland.
