In today's Browns news update, both current Cleveland Browns starting quarterback Brian Hoyer and first-round draft pick Johnny Manziel have been made unavailable to the media until July.
According to Dan Kadar of the Akron Beacon Journal, Manziel and Hoyer will not be allowed to speak with members until July 25th when the team reports for training camp.
Here's Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal with the original scoop on the story via Twitter:
#Browns spokesman said Johnny Manziel won't be available to media this week in minicamp. Also said he won't be available until 7/25 & 7/31.

#Browns QB Brian Hoyer, like Johnny Manziel, also won't be available to media until team reports to training camp 7/25, per team spokesman. — Nate Ulrich (@NateUlrichABJ) June 10, 2014
Manziel has made plenty of headlines in his time with the Browns, with a fair amount of those being not football-related. The Browns may be trying to do their best to ensure that they can keep a handle on said headlines before they become a potential distraction to their preparations.
