The news of Josh Gordon's recent failure of another league-administered drug test (due to alcohol, per Mike Florio of NBC's Pro Football Talk) has made the Cleveland Browns' decision on whether or not to keep the troubled wide receiver for them, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler:
The likelihood of Gordon staying on the roster seemed bleak even before this news. The only way the Browns would have kept Gordon was if they couldn't create a trade market for him. Now that market is gone, but the point is moot and the decision easy: move on, better off without him.
Over his tumultuous short career, Gordon has been arrested and charged for driving while impaired, has been suspended twice by the NFL, and has missed team meetings, one of which got him suspended by the team for their season finale in 2014.
