In tonight's Browns news update, one of the most respected sportswriters in Cleveland believes that Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan's offense "will help" Johnny Manziel's transition to the NFL that much easier.
Terry Pluto of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer believes that the offense that Shanahan is building this offseason is "for Johnny Manziel. There's a temptation to say that after a few peeks of Kyle Shanahan's offense revealed at the Browns' last two OTAs open to the media."
However, Pluto also stated that "the offense will also work for Brian Hoyer. It's an offense that will help any quarterback who is reasonably mobile, and it's an offense that should help the linemen."
It would be silly to say the Browns won't plan for Manziel going forward, especially with the fact that they traded up to pick him in the first round of May's NFL Draft.
Yet, it is still Brian Hoyer's job to lose until further notice.
