The Cleveland Browns know one thing for sure - if they take care of business, the NFL Playoffs will be there reward.
According to Michael David Smith of NBC's Pro Football Talk, "Cleveland still controls its path to the playoffs and is guaranteed to get to the postseason if it wins out. And even if the Browns drop a game and go 4-1 the rest of the way, an 11-5 record would almost certainly be enough to make the playoffs. The Browns aren’t favorites to get to the postseason, but they have a very legitimate opportunity to do it."
This week's Browns/Bills tilt will go a long way in dispensing with another potential Wild Card challenger, and a win could be enough for Cleveland to start building some separation from the rest of the AFC North.
Nothing is guaranteed by any stretch, but the Browns are in position to bring the Dawg Pound a long-awaited taste of playoff football.
