The Clemson Tigers, unlike their first two games of the season, didn't have much trouble to open ACC play. Clemson cruised to a 26-7 win over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Thursday nights. Clemson was up 23-0 at the half and although they slowed down in the second half, they dominated this matchup.

Clemson marched down the field on the opening possession. The drive culminated in a TD pass from Deshaun Watson to WR Mike Williams.
Still in the first quarter, the Tigers extended their lead to 14-0 on a short TD from Wayne Gallman.
After adding a safety following a Watson interception that was fumbled at the one and recovered in the end zone by Georgia Tech, Clemson added one more TD before the half. This one went to Jordan Leggett just before the half.
The Yellow Jackets scored a TD in the 4th, but that was it for them in the scoring department. Clemson added a field goal after that TD to make it 26-7. Clemson could have added another score with the ball inside the 10 late, but elected to run out of the clock.
