Williams commits to Clemson

On Saturday night, TheClemsonInsider learned that Clemson has picked up a commitment from four-star cornerback LeAnthony Williams Jr.

Multiple sources told TCI that Williams committed to Clemson while he was on campus for Saturday’s Junior Day.

A 6-foot, 170-pound prospect from Roswell, Ga., Williams committed to Clemson over offers Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and LSU.

His former high school teammate, five-star linebacker Tre Lamar, enrolled at Clemson in January. Williams was joined in Tigertown by fellow 2017 prospect Xavier McKinney, who’s committed to Alabama.

Williams is the second Junior Day visitor to commit to Clemson on Saturday.
