Though he will not finish his football career exactly as he hoped when he first came to Clemson, former safety Korrin Wiggins did do something on Friday he wanted to do more than anything else – get his college degree from Clemson.
Wiggins was part of 63 student-athletes in 13 different sports that graduated from Clemson University during ceremonies at Littlejohn Coliseum the past two days.
“It feels great. You dream about this,” Wiggins said with a big smile afterward. “God is good. I’m just happy that I get to graduate.”
Wiggins, who left the Clemson program last month, said being a college graduate was important to him because he will need his degree once his football career is complete whether that is after college or after a career in the pro ranks.
