On Wednesday night the No. 3 Clemson Tigers swept the season series with the Georgia Bulldogs with a 9-7 victory at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. The Tigers improve to a record of 31-7 overall.
After the game The Clemson Insider spoke with head coach Monte Lee, Chris Williams, Seth Beer and Owen Griffith. This is what we heard:
“Well we did some good things tonight” said Lee. “I thought Tyler Jackson threw the ball very, very well. No walks tonight. Pounded the strike zone after a few too many free passes over the weekend. We got back to doing what we’ve done all year which is just pound the strike zone.
