CLEMSON, SC – Drew Wharton hit two home runs Saturday afternoon leading the Tigers to a 9-1 victory over No. 10 Dallas Baptist in the first game of a doubleheader. The senior, who had not hit a home run in his career with the Tigers until this series, now has three. Clemson took the series with the win and go for the sweep in game three.
Brooks Crawford had a strong outing for the Tigers going 5.0 innings and only giving up three hits, no runs and five strikeouts. Crawford didn’t give up a hit after the leadoff batter in the second.
