Watson wants to be a better player

Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson says he can be an overall better player, leader and quarterback when he met with the media last week.

The Heisman Trophy Finalist, the first in Clemson history, threw for 4,104 yards in 2015 and rushed for another 1,105 yards to become the first player in the history of college football to throw for 4,000 yards and rush for 1,000 yards in the same season.

Watson also combined for 47 touchdowns, throwing 35 and running for 12 more. He is 18-2 as a starter.

“There is always some way to better my game and that is what I’m trying to do,” Watson said.
