Deshaun Watson is impressing at the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine, and he hasn’t even thrown the football in front of scouts yet.
Watson has handled himself well during his interviews with NFL teams since arriving to the combine in Indianapolis, Ind., on Wednesday, and he got off to good start with his on-field workouts Saturday.
The national championship and two-time Heisman finalist recorded unofficial times of 4.68 and 4.67 on his two attempts in the 40-yard dash at Lucas Oil Stadium.
NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock called Watson’s times “real solid,” and had high praise for him.
