Winston-Salem, NC – Wake Forest jumped on Clemson with three early home runs and held on for a 6-4 win to open ACC play for both teams.
Charlie Barnes didn’t have his best night for the Tigers. Barnes went 6.1 innings and gave up six hits, six runs and six earned runs. Brooks Crawford pitched well in relief going 1.2 innings and only giving up one hit and no runs.
Robert Jolly and Reed Rohlman went 2-4 from the plate for the Tigers. Seth Beer and Chase Pinder both homered for Clemson.
Wake Forest jumped on the Tigers early.
