Monroe (N.C.) Piedmont four-star forward Hunter Tyson made an official visit to Clemson over the weekend and left the school with his mind made up.
The visit sealed the deal for Tyson, who committed to the Clemson Tigers on Monday.
“It just really felt comfortable, felt like home to me,” Tyson told The Clemson Insider shortly after his commitment. “That’s really when I decided that’s where I wanted to continue my career.”
Tyson (6-7, 190) chose Clemson over offers from Davison, DePaul, Michigan, Tennessee and Wake Forest among others. He also took official visits to Davidson and Michigan.
