Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence is one of the most recognizable players in all of college football, and he announced a five-point plan on behalf of the players for "actionable steps to create real change" when it comes to the fight against systemic racism and police brutality.
"We, the players, have a voice, and we will use it to drive out injustice, improve our communities and inspire future generations," he said in the statement.
The five-point plan is as follows:
"1. Ensure all of our teammates are registered to vote & have November 3rd free from athletic obligations so we all can vote.
