Transfer target emerges

It was around this time a year ago that Marcquise Reed announced his plans to transfer from Robert Morris. Clemson wound up landing the shooting guard, who was coming off an impressive freshman season and a run to the NCAA Tournament.

One of his former teammates at Robert Morris, sophomore forward Elijah Minnie, announced on Thursday night that he’d been offered by Clemson and Nevada.

“Me and him have a great relationship,” Minnie told TheClemsonInsider on Thursday night, “We consider ourselves brothers.”

As a sophomore, Minnie averaged 12 points and 6.6 rebounds per game for the Colonials.
