Apopka (Fla.) high-four star 2018 offensive tackle William Barnes, a consensus top-115 prospect nationally and a top-15 tackle, has liked Clemson since he was a freshman.
Now a junior with over a dozen scholarship offers, highlighted by Florida, Florida State, Miami, Alabama, Auburn, Ohio State and Tennessee, Barnes would love to add one from Clemson.
“Still hoping,” Barnes said in an interview with TCI.
Barnes visited Clemson for the second session of the Dabo Swinney Camp last June. The 6-foot-4, 290-pounder was named MVP of the 2016 Orlando Rivals Camp Series in February.
Barnes told TCI in November that Clemson is one of his favorite schools.
