Clemson co-offensive coordinator and receivers coach Jeff Scott dropped by Frederica Academy in Saint Simons Island, Ga., on Tuesday to see four-star wide receiver Jashawn Sheffield.
“It’s always good to see him,” Sheffield told TCI. “He’s one of my favorite coaches.”
The Tigers offered Sheffield, one of their top 2019 targets, in March 2016. He visited that month and returned last summer to compete at the Dabo Swinney Camp.
Scott also paid Sheffield a visit at his school in December before assistant coach Danny Pearman did the same a month after.
Clemson wants to get Sheffield back on campus this summer.
