Clemson took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the third on a sacrifice fly to deep center by Chris Williams.
Logan Davidson struck out but reached first on a passed ball to lead off the inning and Seth Beer singled advancing Davidson to second. Williams stepped up to the plate with two outs and drove a two strike pitch deep to centerfield.
