Tigers stun No. 9 Duke

GREENVILLE — Matt Jones’ game-tying three-pointer from the left corner bounced off the side on the rim with 1.8 second to play and right into the arms of Clemson’s Avery Holmes, securing the Tigers 68-63 victory over No. 9 Duke on Wednesday at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville.

For good measure Holmes made both free throws on the other end as the Tigers improved to 4-1 in the ACC and 11-6 overall. It was Clemson’s four straight win overall and second straight over a top 25 team. Clemson beat No.16 Louisville last Saturday.

Clemson put the pressure on the Blue Devils when Jordan Roper waited for a double team, drove the lane and found Blossomgame for a massive dunk with 13.
