Tigers rout Pitt in a penalty filled match

Eight-ranked Clemson was able to show complete control of the match, as the Tigers defeated ACC foe Pitt, 3-0, Friday night at Historic Riggs Field in Clemson.

Clemson (7-1, 2-1 ACC) took on an interesting opponent in Pitt as the game was filled with penalties and stoppage of play. Between both teams there was a total of 41 fouls.

With the game starting off slow, forward Diego Campos opened up the flood gates in a big way. At 31:28 in the match after being set up by Robbie Robinson, Campos launched a screamer into the top left corner with little angle.
