On a day when the wind was blowing out of Doug Kingsmore Stadium, Clemson and Florida State combined for seven home runs. And though the 15th-ranked Seminoles had one more than the Tigers, it was Clemson that got the most of them.
The Tigers tallied 13 hits, including home runs from Grayson Byrd, Chris Williams and Seth Beer in routing FSU, 12-7, Saturday in Clemson. With the win, the Tigers tied the three-game series. The rubber match will be Monday at 7 p.m., on ESPN 2.
Clemson (35-12, 18-8 ACC) at least one run in each of the first five innings.
