Winston-Salem, NC – Clemson rallied for eight runs in the seventh as they defeated Wake Forest 13-8 to win the first ACC series of the year.
Weston Wilson went 4-4 with three RBI’s and Chris Okey was 3-6 with four RBI’s to lead the Tigers.
Once again coach Lee had to go to the bullpen early. Alex Eubanks got the start but only lasted 2.1 innings. He gave up six hits, six runs and six earned runs. Alex Schnell relieved Eubanks and went 2.1 innings giving up two hits, one run and one earned run. Brooks Crawford came in and settled things down for Clemson going 2.
