Mustapha Muhammad, one of the top tight ends in the class of 2018, picked up an offer from Clemson on Tuesday night.
The four-star from Ridge Point High School in Missouri City, Tex. got the word from tight ends coach Danny Pearman.
“He told me a lot about the university and what the program has to offer,” Muhammad said. “He was just really straight-forward and a really nice person.”
Clemson’s offer “was a big surprise.”
“I hadn’t heard anything prior to this point and I’m just really excited,” Muhammad said.
Even though he lives halfway across the country, Muhammad is pretty familiar with the Tigers.
