Michael Wright is a name to know in the class of 2020. The dual-threat quarterback from Woodward Academy in Atlanta already has a few scholarship offers and is on the radar of plenty power conference programs.
Wright (6-5, 165) showed well at the Dabo Swinney Camp in June and was invited to attend Clemson’s game against Georgia Tech in Death Valley two weeks ago.
“I really enjoyed the facilities on the tour,” Wright said of the visit, “but what stood out to me the most was how friendly and happy everyone was, especially to my family.”
Through 10 games as a sophomore this season, Wright has completed 72 of 114 passes (63 percent) for 1,037 yards and eight touchdowns to just two interceptions.
