Concord (N.C.) Cox Mill’s Terrell Dawkins saw his recruitment take off at the end of February.
The 2019 defensive end picked up his first Power Five offer from Florida last week. Tennessee, Duke, West Virginia and NC State all followed with offers in the days thereafter.
The fast-rising prospect is on Clemson’s radar, and the Tigers have been keeping in touch.
“The basic stuff,” Dawkins said of what he has heard from Clemson’s coaches, “like we like how you play and you need to come up to build a closer relationship.”
Dawkins (6-4, 246) visited Clemson for the Florida State game last season and plans to return soon.
