Eighth-ranked Clemson dominated possession and the match, as it defeated the UCLA Bruins 3-0 at Historic Riggs Field on Tuesday.
The Tigers started off the match strong, earning a penalty kick at 2:46 in the game. To no one’s surprise, Clemson forward Diego Campos came up to take the PK for his team. Just moments later, the ball was buried into the bottom left corner of the net giving the Tigers an early 1-0 lead.
Clemson (6-1) continued to pour on the pressure throughout the night, controlling a majority of the possession time. The Tigers headed into the half up 1-0, but the scoring didn’t stop there.
